Former Vice President Mike Pence has dropped out of the presidential election race. In the 2016 and 2020, he was Donald Trump's running mate. After the 2020 election, Mike Pence decided to part ways with Donald Trump.

What the News Is Saying 

Politico posted an article titled "It ended in Sin City. But Mike Pence’s campaign was DOA for months" that discusses how Mike Pence's campaign failed. They state it is because of "Trumpism". This article discusses how Mike Pence became a politician and how long he was one. They believe that the moment Mike Pence aligned himself with Trump, it caused his downfall. According to Allsides, Politico has a left leaning bias. 

Reuters posted an article discussing how Mike Pence announced he was dropping out of the race. It also discusses other people's reactions. For example, Donald Trump said Mike Pence should endorse him. Mike Pence's campaign financial status was disclosed. Reuters has no bias according to AllSides. 

A Fox News article decided to look into the future. With Mike Pence dropping out, Fox News thinks more will follow soon. This article also discussed who Mike Pence's supporters may turn too. Instead of discussing why Mike Pence's campaign failed, Fox News used it as an opportunity to discuss what may happen next. Fox News has a right leaning bias according to AllSides.

    The withdrawal of Mike Pence from the 2024 Presidential Election marks a significant development in the political landscape. In my opinion, being associated with Trump negatively impacted his campaign. I can see that Fox News took a forward-looking approach, speculating on the ripple effects of Pence's decision on the race and where his supporters might gravitate. It offers a different lens into understanding why he chose to drop out

  The Fiasco If you have been keeping up with politics recently, then you have heard about representative Kevin McCarthy being removed as speaker of the house. This is the first time in United States history that a speaker of the house has been voted out according to Forbes . Forbes has no bias towards any political party according to AllSides . Eight republicans and all of the democrats voted to remove him. This leaves the house without a speaker. Many republicans decided to vote for representative Jim Jordan as the new speaker of the house. After three voting rounds, Jim Jordan has not received enough votes to become the speaker of the house according to Forbes . A lot of people would say that this is one giant mess.     Who is he? Robert F. Kennedy Jr. or RFK Jr. belongs to a well known political family.  His father, Robert F. Kennedy Sr., ran for president in 1968 and his uncle John F. Kennedy was a president.
